How would you describe your work to those who approach it for the first time?

honestly, i never describe my work to people. i find it difficult and pointless to describe artwork. would you describe a song or a dance? if you could describe something non verbal with words, then why bother doing it in the first place? to me the whole point of making a painting is because it's an expression of ideas that cannot be expressed in any other way, including with words.

Japanese art and imagery seem to have quite an influence in your art. What attracts you the most about Japan and its culture?
